We champion and celebrate the use of locally sourced grains, using malted and unmalted barley along with oats, wheat and rye. We are one of the first distilleries to produce Single Pot Still whiskey using this mix of grains in over 50 years, and our distillery is custom-built to create the most unique Single Pot Still whiskeys full of character and complexity.

Boann Distillery is independently owned and run by the Cooney family, whose rich drinks industry heritage and entrepreneurial spirit lead the way for our Whistler Range. It is named after the original whistler, himself, Pat Cooney, whose whistling tunes echo through our distillery.
Silks Gin is distilled by hand in small batches in our 500-litre custom copper pot still and is named in honour of the colourful silks won by the jockeys at Bellewstown racecourse, which we can see from our distillery in the Boyne Valley.
Copper Cloud Irish Dry Gin is a technology led premium gin. Its complexity and elegance is formed with unique distillation techniques which sees three distinct distillates expertly blended to a secret recipe in Boann Distillery in Ireland.
